The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged at 1,275.30.

Bank of Butterfield saw 123,496 of its shares traded, leaving its price unchanged at $1.79.

Utilities firm Ascendant was also unchanged at $5.60 after 15,000 shares changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 3.74 points, or 0.22 per cent, at 1,660.78.
