Butterfield shares edge lower

Bank of Butterfield shares were the only stock to move on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index
The Bank of Butterfield dropped 15 cents, or 0.8 per cent, on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
The fall came after 500 shares traded, the only movement of the day on the exchange. The shares ended at $19.25.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 6.75 points, or 0.5 per cent, at 1,341.42.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 19.69 points, or 1.19 per cent, at 1,674.97.
