It was a quiet day on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which was unchanged at 2,023.6.

The only stock that traded was Butterfield Bank, with 3,213 shares changing hands, but no change to the closing price of $33.50. On the New York Stock Exchange the bank’s shares fell 40 cents, or 1.2 per cent, to close at $32.89.

The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1,845.24, down 2.12 points or 0.11 per cent.
