The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged at 1,918.62 after a day of no trading.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the Bank of Butterfield was up 31 cents, or 0.99 per cent, at $31.61.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 4.82 points, or 0.26 per cent, at 1,843.55.
