The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged at 1,936.54 after a day of no trading.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the Bank of Butterfield dropped 37 cents or 1.17 per cent to $31.28.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 8.67 points or 0.47 at 1844.66.
