The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged at 1,936.54 after a day of no trading.

On the New York Stock Exchange, Bank of Butterfield dropped 9 cents, or 0.29 per cent, to $31.28.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 28.87 points, or 1.57 per cent, at 1,867.32.
