Telecoms firm One Communications went up 15 cents to $2.90 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The move, equal to 5.5 per cent, came after 5,500 shares traded.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the Bank of Butterfield rose two cents, or 0.06 per cent, to $32.82.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 2.06 points, or 0.1 per cent, at 1,990.97.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 0.62 points, or 0.03 per cent, at 1,887.98.
