The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged at 2,050.20 after a day of no trading.

The Bank of Butterfield rose 16 cents, or 0.47 per cent, to $34.09 on the New York Stock Exchange.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 5.8 points, or 0.31 per cent, at 1,867.93.
