The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed where it started today at 2,202.27 as no shares were traded.

The New York Stock Exchange-listed shares of Butterfield Bank gained 28 cents, or 0.7 per cent to close on $37.43.

The BSX Insurance Index fell 8.92 points, or 0.49 per cent.
