Shares of Butterfield Bank fell 11 cents, or 0.27 per cent, to $40.22 on the New York Stock Exchange.

Meanwhile, a total of 1,500 of the bank’s shares were exchanged on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, with no change in the closing price of $40.

The exchange was unchanged at 2,315.47. The BSX Insurance Index was up 18.82 points, or 0.99 per cent, at 1,925.89.
