Ascendant shares trade on BSX

The BSX Insurance Index climbed 1.45 per cent
Ascendant Group Ltd was the lone stock to be traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The company, which owns power utility Belco, closed unchanged on $17 as 15,000 shares worth $255,000 changed hands.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 2,276.59.
Butterfield Bank, which last traded on the BSX at $38, saw its US-listed shares gain 86 cents, or 2.2 per cent, to close at $39.59 on the New York Stock Exchange.
The BSX Insurance Index had a positive day, climbing 22.18 points, or 1.45 per cent, to close on 1,552.67.
