Butterfield shares fall 12% in New York

Shares of Butterfield Bank dropped by $4.76, or 11.99 per cent, to $34.93 on the New York Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, there were no trades on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which was unchanged at 2,364 points.
The BSX Insurance Index was down 13.56 points, or 0.87 per cent, at 1,553.26.
