Shares of BF&M Ltd fell by 20 cents, or 1.2 per cent, to $16.20 after 20,000 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Also falling was Ascendant Group, which was 10 cents lower, or 0.6 per cent down, at $16.90 after 7,612 shares were exchanged.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 2.5 points, or 0.13 per cent, at 1,939.5, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 1.51 points, or 0.1 per cent, at 1,446.82.

On the New York Stock Exchanges, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 13 cents, or 0.43 per cent, at $30.53.
