Shares of One Communications Ltd fell 10 cents, or 3.3 per cent, to $2.90, aft 2,200 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index. Also losing ground were shares of Ascendant Group Ltd, down 50 cents, or 2.4 per cent, to $20.50 after 1,900 changed hands.

BF&M Ltd improved by eight cents, or 0.5 per cent, to $16.24 after 2,500 were exchanged.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 73 cents, or 1.79 per cent, at $40.13.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 5.58 points, or 0.23 per cent, at 2,460.3, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 4.36 points, or 0.29 per cent, at 1,532.27.
