Two stocks traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange as The Royal Gazette/BSX Index held steady at 2,329.16.

Ascendant Group Ltd was the most actively traded stock, with 1,800 shares changing hands as the parent company of power utility Belco remained unchanged on $20.

Insurer BF&M Ltd also closed unchanged on $16.05 as 1,250 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares fell 76 cents, or 2 per cent, in New York Stock Exchange trading to close on $36.78.

The BSX Insurance Index slid 16.26 points, or 1.11 per cent, to close on 1,447.61.
