Shares of Butterfield Bank were down eight cents, or 0.2 per cent, at $39.05 on the New York Stock Exchange.

There were no trades on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which remained unchanged at 2,401.92. The BSX Insurance Index was up 18.24 points, or 1.18 per cent, at 1,568.22.
