One gains, Argus falls on BSX
Shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd fell 1.3 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
The insurer dipped four cents to close on $3.01 on the trading of 8,050 shares.
The most actively traded stock was One Communications Ltd, which gained three cents, or 0.8 per cent, to close on $3.58, as 25,000 shares changed hands.
LOM Financial Ltd also saw significant trade with 20,000 shares being traded as the price remained unchanged on $2.75.
Ascendant Group Ltd, which announced on Monday that it had agreed a $36-per-share takeover offer from Algonquin Power & Utilities Corporation, a deal that is subject to shareholder, regulatory and government approvals, has not traded on the BSX since. The Belco owner last traded on $22 on Friday.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 0.39 of a point to close on 2,175.86.
BSX trading volume totalled 53,050 shares. Turnover was $168,090.
The BSX Insurance Index gained 22.72 points, or 1.4 per cent, to close on 1,631.19.
