Shares of BF&M Ltd were up 45 cents, or 2.6 per cent, to $17.70 after 11,300 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

There was also an exchange of 10,000 shares of One Communications Ltd, but with no change to the closing price of $3.75.

In New York, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 42 cents, or 1.5 per cent, at $27.56.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 3.44 points, or 0.18 per cent, at 1,961.4, while the BSX Insurance Index was down 10.52 points, or 0.62 per cent, at 1,693.3.

The Bermuda Stock Exchange will be closed on Monday for the Labour Day holiday.
