The Bermuda Stock Exchange was closed yesterday, as a result of the disruption caused Hurricane Humberto’s visit to the island.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed at 2,084.37 on Wednesday.

Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares fell 52 cents, or 1.63 per cent, to close on $31.43 on the New York Stock Exchange.

The bank’s shares last traded at $30.25 on the BSX.
