Shares of Ascendant Group Ltd, the parent company of Belco, fell by five cents, or 0.2 per cent, to $30.05 after 330 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

A total of 57 shares of One Communications Ltd also changed hands, but with no impact on the closing price of $3.75.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down $1.35, or 4.28 per cent, at $30.22.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 0.48 of a point, or 0.02 per cent, at 2,200.74. The BSX Insurance Index was down 36.54 points, or 2.01 per cent, at 1,780.56.
