Shares of Butterfield Bank fell by $1.40, or 7.2 per cent, to $18.10, after 900 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s shares were down $1.10, or 5.89 per cent, at $17.59.The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 62.96 points, or 4.02 per cent, at 1,502.85, while the BSX Insurance Index was down 64.53 points, or 4.76 per cent, at 1,292.48.
