Butterfield shares down 0.7%

Butterfield Bank shares fell by 25 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to $38 after 300 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank's shares were down 20 cents, or 0.52 per cent, at $38.44.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 9.83 points, or 0.38 per cent, at 2,585.08, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 47.9 points, or 2.78 per cent, at 1,772.36.
