Bank closes at $40.90 on NYSE

The RG/BSX Index fell 26.82 (0.96 per cent) to close at 2,756.01 as just one issue traded.
Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd was off by 50 cents (1.2 per cent), closing at $40 after 488 shares ($19,405.60) changed hands.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank stock closed up two cents (0.05 per cent) at $40.90.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 0.96 per cent
