Bank stock rises on BSX and NYSE

The RG/BSX Index closed 53.64 points (2.45 per cent) higher at 2,242.07, with Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd. trading a dollar higher (3.3 per cent), closing at $31.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank fell 15 cents to close at $31.70.
