Bank stocks climb $1.15 on the NYSE

The RG/BSX Index rose 9.54 points (0.41 per cent) to 2,360.34, driven by the only active issue on the Bermuda Stock Exchange for the day.
Argus Group Holdings Ltd, rose 40 cents (7.9 per cent) to $5.45 after 14,700 shares changed hands.
Meanwhile, The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited rose $1.15 (3.40 per cent) to $35 at the close, on the New York Stock Exchange.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 9.54 points (0.41 per cent) to 2,360.34, as 14,700 shares for Argus insurance traded
