Butterfield up 3% on the NYSE

Bank drop: Butterfield shares fell 241.71 points on the BSX
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 9.95 per cent on Thursday, closing at 2,186.35, down 241.71 points.
A total of 33,200 shares changed hands at a value of $373,725.
Of that, 25,000 LOM Financial Limited shares finished virtually unchanged at $5.10; and 8,200 Bank of N T Butterfield shares finished down $4.50 (13 per cent) at $30.
Meanwhile on the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield closed at $30.30 up $1.05 (3.59 per cent) with 399,836 shares changing hands.
