The RG/BSX Index closed on Tuesday at 2,322.84, up 57.48 points (2.54 per cent)
Some 2,043 shares in Bank of NT Butterfield Ltd changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $31, up 99 cents (3.3 per cent).
Also on the BSX, 130 shares in BF&M Ltd were traded. The stock closed at $25.49, up 48 cents (1.9 per cent).
Overseas, Butterfield Bank closed down five cents (0.16 per cent) at $31.73 on the New York Stock Exchange.
