The RG/BSX Index closed today up 28.01 points (1.12 per cent) at 2,526.08.
Some 10,327 shares in Bank of NT Butterfield changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange. The stock closed at $36.50, up 50 cents (1.4 per cent).
Some 8,000 shares in Argus Group Holdings Ltd were traded on the BSX. The stock closed at $4.70, up a nickel (1.1 per cent).
Overseas, Butterfield closed down $1.72 (4.36 per cent) at $37.71 on the New York Stock Exchange.
