Butterfield rises 3.7% on BSX

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index jumped 115.14 points today to close on 3,594.70.
Only Butterfield Bank was active on the Bermuda Stock Exchange with 2,562 shares trading, the stock price rising $2, or 3.7 per cent, to close at $56.
Meanwhile, Butterfield fell 33 cents, or 0.59 per cent, on the New York Stock Exchange to close at $56 with 70,949 shares changing hands.
