Bank closes higher on NYSE

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 9.8 points or 0.25 per cent
The RG/BSX Index fell 9.8 points (0.25 per cent) to 3,857.27 today after 6,150 shares traded ($171,357.50) on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Butterfield Bank closed unchanged at $60 after 50 shares changed hands. Allshores finished down a dollar (3.6 per cent) at $27 on a volume of 6,100.
Butterfield closed at $58.97, up 62 cents (1.06 per cent) on the New York Stock Exchange.
