Butterfield shares slide on BSX and NYSE

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 74.84 points
Shares of Butterfield Bank fell by more than 2 per cent on both the Bermuda Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange today.
On the BSX, Butterfield dipped $1.30 to close at $55 as 1,000 shares changed hands.
With Butterfield the only stock to trade on the BSX, The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 74.84 points, or 2.05 per cent, to close at 3,578.51.
The US-listed shares of Butterfield slid $1.45, or 2.57 per cent, to close at $54.93 on the NYSE as 171,424 shares changed hands.
