I provide immigration consulting advice and processing services to a portfolio of clients, and also support to the recruitment team by conducting references, administering assessments and managing the advertisement process.What is your favourite part of the job? My favourite part is providing advice on immigration matters to greater-than-50 client organisations. This aspect of my job provides me the opportunity to consult with many top executives and human resource managers from companies ranging from large re/insurance and global financial companies to new start-ups and small local companies.What is your least favourite part of the job? My least favourite part of the job is providing unfavourable news to a client. I would love to be able to guarantee a favourable outcome for all of my clients. However there are many factors that come into play with all applications, so I can only hope for the best after we have put forth our best here at Expertise.What is your most interesting experience at work? The most interesting part of Expertise is the atmosphere created here, which is pleasant from the time one walks through the doors. Our office embodies my vision of human resources; from the quirky caricatures of the employees on the wall, to the vibrant colours of the carpet and Bermudian influenced meeting rooms. I consider my place of employment a second home and I could tell from my initial foot in the door that this was the place for me.What would you be doing otherwise? I discovered in my second year of accounting courses in university that my passion was geared more towards human resources. Therefore, God willing, I will always find myself working within HR or pursuing further education in this field.
