BOOSTER SHOT

Freesias. You know that Spring is not far away when our landscape becomes dotted with areas of freesia plants creating carpets of colour and their wonderful scent fills the warming air. These beautiful flowers do not just come out of nowhere but develop from bulbs that are planted over the years so that each March and April we can enjoy them and their beauty.

As with this flower all of us have to plant our “bulbs” carefully to ensure that the ideas or dreams that we have can flower after we have taken the time to nurture them and ensure that the result is what we envision. The ideas we need to create an ever improving future take time to develop and grow just as everything in nature requires time and care. What “bulbs” are you planting now?

“The flowers of late winter and early spring occupy places in our hearts well out of proportion to their size” Gertrude S. Wister
