This morning the Minister of Labour, Community Affairs and Sports the Hon. Lovitta Foggo JP MP supported her Department of Workforce Development team at their free career development workshops, held at the Devonshire Recreation Club.

The Minister met with job-seekers and chatted to them about their career goals and ambitions.

The aim of the well-attended workshops was to assist individuals throughout the job search process from job readiness, to referrals to potential employers.

They covered a variety of topics including resume development, interview skills, understanding what employers want, social media presence & employment, and job search strategies.

The Department of Workforce Development provides career development, job readiness and training services in the community; empowering and equipping individuals to reach their career goals.
