Clarien Bank Ltd has announced the appointment of three new team members.

Jennifer Hanson joins as SVP, head of trust and family office, where the organisation said she is expected to play a leadership role in the strategic development of Clarien Wealth Management, with a focus on Clarien's ultra-high net worth and family office client base.

She will report to Bruce Jackson, Clarien’s chief wealth management officer.

Alistair Melvin joins Clarien Investments Ltd as an investment analyst, and Dajon Richardson has been hired by CIL as an associate investment analyst.

Clarien said they will support the organisation’s efforts to build upon its bespoke wealth management business in the region, reporting to Clarien's head of investment strategy and supporting the bank's investment managers.

Ian Truran, chief executive officer of Clarien Bank, said: “Clarien Bank continues to refine our wealth management offering to ensure we can best meet the needs of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families.

“With institutional-grade investment management services, our wealth management clients are provided access to investment decision makers at CIL, all of whom are CFAs, in addition to their own dedicated wealth manager.”

He added: “Additionally, we offer trust administration, estate planning and family governance expertise through our Clarien trust and family office team. We are committed to delivering first-class boutique wealth management services, which is why we are pleased to have expanded our team with three new employees.

“Jennifer, Alistair and Dajon each bring with them a unique skill set and expertise in the financial services industry, and will no doubt be an asset to the Clarien Bank team.”

Ms Hanson has 25 years' professional expertise, most recently serving as chief financial and administration officer at HG (Bermuda) Ltd.

Clarien said she was responsible for the accounting, finance and administration functions for HG (Bermuda) Ltd and HG (Bermuda) II Ltd, the former parent company for Hay Group, a consulting firm with operations in 48 countries.

She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from the University of Saskatchewan, and is a chartered professional accountant and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Mr Melvin is a CFA level 3 candidate and last served as an investment coordinator at Bermuda Investment Advisory Services Ltd, based in George Town, Cayman Islands. He is a graduate of Kingston University of London, having earned a degree in marketing management.
