Motorist hurt in St David’s car crash

A driver was hurt when his car flipped on to its side in a one-vehicle crash.

The 54-year-old was travelling west on St David's Road in St George's when the incident happened at about 6.15pm on Sunday.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to a spot near Chapel of Ease Road, where the car had ended up on its side.

The driver was treated at the scene for a minor hand injury and the damaged car was later towed away.

Any witnesses were asked to call 295-0011.
