Jogger struck by motorcycle on Middle Road

A female runner was injured, along with a male motorcycle rider, in an early morning crash on Middle Road, Warwick, near the junction with Cobbs Hill Road.

A police spokesman said the 39-year-old Paget woman was struck shortly before 7am while attempting to cross Middle Road.

A 42-year-old St George's man was headed west when the collision occurred.

Both were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.

Witnesses were asked to call the main police number, 295-0011.
