Car hits fence in Warwick

A woman was arrested after a car with no one in it was found crashed in Warwick.

Police were called to a single vehicle incident at about 3.30am on Saturday on South Road near the junction with Warwick Lane.

A spokesman said: “The car involved was found damaged and unoccupied after the driver struck a wooden fence in the vicinity of Astwood Park.

“A 27-year-old Warwick woman, believed to be the driver at the time of the crash, was later arrested on suspicion of impaired driving.

“She was apparently unhurt.”

Anyone with information was asked to call police on 295-0011.
