A teenager has been charged over an alleged daylight home invasion in Southampton on December 6.According to police, four men entered the home in South Road, near the Henry VIII restaurant, with two brandishing what appeared to be firearms.The incident happened around 12.10pm. The occupant of the house was not injured.On Monday, Leo Burgess, 17, from Sandys, was charged with aggravated burglary and possession or handling of a firearm together with persons not before the courts.Mr Burgess was not required to enter a plea, as the matter must be dealt with by the Supreme Court. He was remanded into custody until a further court appearance on February 7.
