Teen hospitalised with ‘serious’ injuries after road crash
A collision between a car and an auxiliary cycle left a teenager needing medical attention.
According to a Police spokeswoman, at around 8.15pm last Tuesday officers responded to a reported traffic collision at the junction of Middle Road and Keith Hall Road in Warwick.
“It appears that an auxiliary cycle and a car were travelling along Middle Road when they collided,” the spokeswoman said.
“The rider of the cycle, an 18-year-old Paget man, was transported to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance. His injuries are not considered to be serious.”
The driver of the car, a 42-year-old Sandys man, was reportedly not injured in the crash.
Anyone with information about the collision is asked to contact the Somerset Police Station on 234-1010.
