Sandys man charged with sexual exploitation of two girls
A 38-year-old Sandys man was yesterday charged with sexually exploiting two girls under the age of ten.
The man, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was charged with three counts of touching a girl under the age of 14 for a sexual purpose, and two counts of intruding on the privacy of a girl.
He pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.
Crown counsel Kirsty-Ann Kiellor told Magistrates’ Court that the alleged incidents took place between December 1999 and December 2005 at locations in Sandys, Smiths, Warwick and Devonshire.
Both of the victims, now 11 and 17 years old, were under the age of ten at the time.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded the defendant in custody overnight, with the matter expected to be mentioned in Magistrates’ Court this morning.
