A teenager was yesterday charged in Magistrates’ Court with possessing a firearm and ammunition earlier this month. Darin Simons, 18, of Crane Lane, Devonshire, was charged with possessing a Smith and Wesson pistol and five 0.38 cartridges in Devonshire on November 5.He was not required to enter a plea as the matter must be heard by the Supreme Court, and remained silent while the matter was heard by the court.Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo remanded the teenager in custody.
