A 32-year-old Paget man is under house arrest after appearing in Magistrates’ Court on charges of sexual assault and stalking.Neither the accused nor his alleged victim can be named for legal reasons.The defendant was granted bail of $15,000 by Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner, on the condition that he agree to wear a 24-hour monitoring electronic bracelet and remain in his residence.The accused man denied one count of sexual assault on April 14 in Devonshire, as well as a charge of stalking from December 1, 2011 up to April 14.Mr Warner adjourned the matter until August 13, and ordered the accused to refrain from any contact with the complainant or witnesses.
