Man charged with attempted murder in Hamilton Parish

A 53-year-old man was charged on Christmas Eve with the attempted murder of Vernica Tucker in Hamilton Parish.

Allan P Robinson was also accused in Magistrates' Court of possessing a bladed article in a public place Rocky Lane in Hamilton Parish and assaulting Kevin Arorash.

The charges relate to offences that allegedly took place on December 11.

Mr Robinson, of Hamilton Parish, was not required to plea because the matters are indictable and must be heard by the Supreme Court.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded him into custody until a hearing scheduled for early next year.
