Teen denies having brass knuckles

A teenager was yesterday charged in Magistrates’ Court with having an illegal weapon at a New Year’s party.
Jahcari Anthony Francis, 16, denied having a brass knuckle in an increased penalty zone.
The teenager was arrested with the item during a New Year’s Eve party on Front Street.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released the teen on $2,000 bail with a like surety. The matter is expected to return to court later this month.
