A Sandys couple has been charged with possessing more than $100,000 of criminal proceeds.Darnell Pinkney, 37, denied possessing a controlled drug with intent to supply, and having $114,914.96 in criminal proceeds. Both offences allegedly took place in Sandys on May 29, 2012.Edwina Joell, 31, was charged with assisting Mr Pinkney in retaining the proceeds of crime between January 1, 2010 and May 29, 2012.The matter was adjourned until September 16 for trial, and both defendants were released on $20,000 bail with like sureties.
