Teen motorcyclist charged with injuring man

A 19-year-old Pembroke man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm while driving an unlicensed and uninsured motorcycle.

Jahni Holder, of Ridgway Road, wasn’t required to enter a plea at Magistrates’ Court, as the charges are indictable.

He is accused of injuring Rashaun Zuill on November 9, 2012, on South Road in Warwick, while driving without holding a valid licence and without third party insurance.

Mr Holder was further charged with driving without due care and attention.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner granted $5,000 bail. A trial date is to be set next month.
