A St David’s man was this morning charged with bringing more than 400g of cannabis to the Island.Megael Burch, 42, was charged in Magistrates’ Court with importing 429.89g of the controlled drug with an estimated street value of almost $30,000.He was not required to enter a plea as he requested that the matter be heard by the Supreme Court.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Mr Burch on $10,000 bail with a like surety, adjourning the matter until later this month.
