A Paget man appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with possessing cannabis and rifle magazines.

Jason DeCouto, 35, pleaded not guilty to a charge of possessing cannabis with intent to supply in an incident in Paget on April 6. He also denied having two Ruger magazines on that same date.

Magistrate Archibald Warner released Mr DeCouto on $25,000 bail with a like surety. The matter is expected to return to the court later this month.
