St George’s man denies drug offences

A man arrested during a police raid in St George yesterday denied drugs offences.

Justin Denbrook, 32, pleaded not guilty in Magistrates’ Court to charges of possessing cannabis with intent to supply and possessing cannabis resin.

The total quantity of drugs was said to be 69g.

Mr Denbrook was arrested on December 30 as a result of a police raid on a Wellington Slip Road home.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released Mr Denbrook on $10,000 bail with a like surety, ordering that the matter return to the courts on March 17 for trial.

Mr Denbrook is also required to attend the Southside Police Station twice a week as part of his bail conditions.
